Review: I have been hearing a lot of news about this TV series and was kinda skeptical about them. I have actually been delaying watching them because I wasn’t sure if I should waste my time. After watching this first episode I was blown away! I thought that this episode was just wonderful. The premise was not exactly new but the execution was awesome. I just love seeing MacGyver-type chicks dueling bad guys! This chick was totally hardcore and it was nice to see a woman in a horror flick who knew what to do. The acting was good, the make-up and props were nice, and the plotline was well thought out. The house of “Moonface,” as the old man called him, was absolutely gruesome. The hanging bodies and the basement of rotting corpses, not to mention the creepy old guy who just wanted to sing, made this short a fun and gory adventure for the whole family! That’s just good clean family fun.

Rating: 21. I thought this short was very well done. The story, although not original, was nicely altered and well executed. I liked the characters and their backgrounds. There was just enough story to satisfy, followed by a nice conclusion with a wonderful ending statement by Ellen before Moonface died. Was not expecting to like it but was pleasantly surprised. Bravo Don Coscarelli…bravo. (21of25).
