Synopsis: A meteor hits in the small town of Wheely and a pod is deposited. A wealthy husband finds the pod out in the woods after a drunken romp with a local floozy. Intrigued, he follows a slime trail to a giant grub-like creature that shoots him in the chest with something that implants a smaller organism into his body, taking over his brain. Later he returns home to his wife and...baow chicka baow. Over time he becomes increasingly distant. He starts collecting meat and storing it behind a padlocked door. He impregnates the local floozy with his thousands of worm-like children and they take over the town. The worms jump inside your mouth and take over your mind and body, leaving you in a zombie-like state. All the infected are connected and the only way to stop the whole mess is to stop the originator of the outbreak...Mr. Grant (the wealthy guy).

Review: I thought this movie was awesome! It had all of my favorite factors...blood, gore, guts, exploding heads, and comic relief. The acting was good and the storyline was very solid. It left me wanting more info about the origin of the worms and their celestial escapades. The script, to my surprise, was very good with some funny catch-phrases and good-hearted comedy. Would not consider this a comedy but it had some funny moments. The animated blood was even well done, and I am not a fan of animated blood. This was a wonderful movie.

Rating: 23. Everything was great but it left me wanting more from the story. Maybe we'll get a Slither 2 sometime in the future. But overall I thought that the movie was terrific and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great, bloody, and partially funny, horror flick. (23of25).
