Synopsis: In the 1920's, a monstrous sanitarium was erected to house the unfortunates of a disease called the White Plague. This disease supposedly killed over 60,000 people in this specific county alone. Fast forward to today and five girls are being initiated into their medical school in this same county. They are blindfolded and placed on separate floors of this sanitarium. "Five floors...five girls...five hours," is the catchphrase of the alumni's little prank, which ends up out of hand. Soon all five of the girls and one guy are up and about inside the corridors of the asylum...along with five ghosts. Now that it's not a game, everyone begins to lose their grip on reality, and find out that there is more history between them and the sanitarium than they ever thought possible.

Review: Apart from being very similar to the remake of House on Haunted Hill (1999), I thought that the movie was not that bad. There were some very good cinematics and a few butt-clincher moments. The five ghosts are pretty cool and well made up considering the B rating. The storyline is a bit hard to follow at first because of a lot of flashbacks and flash-forwards. Apart from that the storyline was pretty good and the location was phenomenal. It was one of those that just says..."perfect".

Rating: Overall I give this flick an 18. If the acting was a little better and had an original plot I would have rated it higher. But if you're looking for a good B movie for a movie night and don't mind spending the money, check out Death Tunnel. You won't be too disappointed. (18of25).

Update: After some research I have discovered that this movie is about an actual place designed exactly for what they said it was for. The disease was real, the building is real and the testimonies are very, very real. That info changes my thought of the movie...but not its rating. Check out the background of this story if you get a chance.
