Synopsis: Back from school, Darren, Anna, and Jim sit down to have a little chat about this cross thing that seems to be the cause of all of their problems. Darren finally reveals to Anna and Jim the origins of the cross and the story behind it. In a rage, Darren tries to burn the cross and ends up being hanged by an invisible rope! Anna and Jim save him and they all realize that the cross cannot be destroyed.

Review: I thought this episode was key. It gave us some back-story (finally) on that damn cross and showed us that it can’t be destroyed. I did like how once Darren set the cross on fire he immediately started to choke; like he’s linked to the cross or something. I thought that that little bit of cinema was very well done.

But…I am starting to get very agitated with this series. Even though this is a new thing they are doing and not totally sure how to do it, these episodes need to be a lot longer. I’m getting tired of little snippet-like episodes that leave me hanging for a week. But…on the other hand, it’s brilliant. Keep your audience wanting more and give them something to look forward to. Yeah, I get it.

Rating: 16. Even though this episode was a key plot point…it wasn’t that great. Yeah the whole Darren on an invisible noose thing was cool, but that was the only thing that happened. I just wish these could be like fifteen-minute episodes or something, so they could give us some, even if it’s very small, resolution. (16of25).
