Synopsis: Six teenagers in a juvenile facility are sent on a work release program at the Blackwell Hotel. Little do they know that Jacob Goodnight (Kane), who is a sick reclusive freak, lives in the hotel and likes to tear out people’s eyes. Along for the gruesome ride is the caretaker of the hotel and a cop who happened to have shot Goodnight four years earlier. One by one the kids start to disappear. Those who survive must band together to beat the monster that is Kane, I mean Jacob Goodnight.

Review: This movie would have been a lot better in B&W (Black & White). The acting was typical for a horror movie and I didn’t expect much because it was WWE film. In all reality Kane wasn’t all that bad but he didn’t speak much so I think that made the movie a bit better. The scenery was really cool and kind of reminiscent of Texas Chainsaw. The plot while in a hotel was about as typical as all movies in the slasher genre. I liked the character Goodnight and how he became the psychopath he was. And I liked the idea of the kids being delinquents because it seems too much that its just random kids joyriding or pot heads that are the characters. At least this gave you the chance to root for the bad guy for a change. Because when you watch horror movies from my point of view you like the evil character to be bad ass and kick it as well.

Rating: 14. I think that Kane did a good job. Listen carefully, I said a good job. Overall I would say check it out when it hits the buck ‘fity shelf at your local video store. Or if you can borrow or download it for free even better. Or if you happen to have Comcast or WOW cable check your On Demand feature. I have noticed it for free there as well. Good job WWE on your horror movie debut. Hopefully things will get better as you dive into deeper films. Right, like the WWE gives a crap about substance. Hey, look what MTV films have done. Good luck! (14of25).
