Devil’s Trade - 106 - Sell It

Director: Toby Wilkins

Writer: Ben Ketai

Tagline: [None Yet]

Actors: Ed Canossa, Ginny Weirick, Michael Conti

Runtime: 4m 20s

Category: Curse

Synopsis: The night Darren dies, Anna has a horrible nightmare about him. Exhausted, she stumbles down to the trucker’s room. After he opens the door, she falls to her knees and begs him to buy the cross. Not wanting to hear her wailing all night, he obliges and the cross is gone…but is the curse?

Review: I thought that this episode was crucial. It showed the kind of effects the curse has on it victims; not necessarily physically. It had worn Anna down to damn near nothing and caused her to have a complete break. This part of the story was very intense and important. Anna selling the cross to the trucker was an integral moment of the series. According to the girl that sold Darren the cross, now that Anna has sold it, the curse should be lifted from them. But it doesn’t seem like it.

The story has really taken off and I’m glad to have been a viewer. If the final episode is anything like the last two…I’ll be happy.

Rating: 22. I have rated this episode very high strictly because of the integral plot-points. This episode has pulled together much of the series and given it another direction; in stead of just trying to get in contact with the girl who sold it to Darren, they are now exhausted to the point of desperation. Excellent episode. (22of25).
